Summer Swimming

One of my summer goals, has been to take my kids swimming at least once a week. It's quite an ordeal to pack up 3 kids, load them in the car, and drive 10 minutes to the YMCA. I never realized how spoiled I was as a child, having a pool in my own back yard.
Having grow-up in the valley of the sun, I feel an immense pressure to teach my kids to swim at an early age. Jack, age 5, is finally swimming! He's starting a second session of swim lessons on Monday. I'm confident it will be the finishing touch on his swimming skills.

That is some dedication. You are a good mom. I love what a big girl Lucy is. She is so not a baby anymore. Aric and I just crack up because she reminds us so much of Eden when she was that age.

Hey Megan! It's so fun to hear from you! I LOVED reading about how you and Adam met! He seems like a really neat guy! I am still trying to figure out where you live though! Did you go to the 10 year reunion? We were out of town, so we didn't get to go. Anyways, I am so glad now I can peek in at you and see your family!

I love that look Lucy has in that last picture! She is such a doll. It is fun to see her and olivia together. The boys are getting so big. I still think of Owen as a toddler and he is so not anymore. Where does time go?

I can't believe Jack is swimming! That is great. You deserve it after all your effort. Taking them swimming is so much work, which is why my kids haven't been yet this summer. Isn't that horrible?! Maybe Jack can teach Tate to swim, and Tate can teach Jack to ride his bike. :)
